Bilingual Benefits Analyst, Irvine, CA
We currently have a position available for a Bilingual (English and Spanish) Benefits Analyst in our Irvine, CA office. This individual will assist the Account Team in servicing the benefit consulting needs of our clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Promptly and accurately responds to clients requests through utilization of technical expertise in the benefits field.
- Administers marketing and renewal functions including preparation of requests for proposals.
- Reviews contracts, summary plan descriptions, agreements, etc., for accuracy.
- Prepares and submits client utilization and financial reporting to the consultant and client.
- Assists Account Manager in identifying, planning and developing methods and procedures to obtain greater efficiency and effectiveness for the benefit programs.
- Keeps abreast of changing market conditions and innovations in the industry.
- Special projects as assigned which includes involvement in presentations, client functions and meetings.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years in an insurance-related industry or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual language skills (Spanish and English)
- Currently licensed in Life/Accident and Health Insurance.
- Good knowledge of all lines of benefits.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to independently make accurate decisions and demonstrate good judgment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to work in a collaborative, team-oriented manner, fostering empowerment and ownership for service quality.
- Good keyboard and PC skills using word processing and spreadsheet software, familiarity with various software applications and the ability to learn new software systems.
