Bilingual Benefits Analyst, Irvine, CA

We currently have a position available for a Bilingual (English and Spanish) Benefits Analyst in our Irvine, CA office. This individual will assist the Account Team in servicing the benefit consulting needs of our clients. 

Responsibilities include:
  • Promptly and accurately responds to clients requests through utilization of technical expertise in the benefits field. 
  • Administers marketing and renewal functions including preparation of requests for proposals. 
  • Reviews contracts, summary plan descriptions, agreements, etc., for accuracy.
  • Prepares and submits client utilization and financial reporting to the consultant and client.
  • Assists Account Manager in identifying, planning and developing methods and procedures to obtain greater efficiency and effectiveness for the benefit programs.
  • Keeps abreast of changing market conditions and innovations in the industry.
  • Special projects as assigned which includes involvement in presentations, client functions and meetings.
 
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years in an insurance-related industry or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bilingual language skills (Spanish and English)
  • Currently licensed in Life/Accident and Health Insurance.
  • Good knowledge of all lines of benefits. 
  • Good oral and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to independently make accurate decisions and demonstrate good judgment.
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Able to work in a collaborative, team-oriented manner, fostering empowerment and ownership for service quality.
  • Good keyboard and PC skills using word processing and spreadsheet software, familiarity with various software applications and the ability to learn new software systems.
