Employee Benefits Health & Welfare Senior Consultant, Boston

We currently have a position open for an Employee Benefits Health and Welfare Senior Consultant in our Boston, MA office. The ideal candidate is a motivated insurance professional with 3 or more years of experience.          
 
Primary responsibilities include:
 
·           Relationship management of client.
·          Coordinate and manage the activities of marketing and renewals, recommending measures to improve satisfaction, performance and cost.
·          Recommend or initiate actions to effectively and proactively service the client. Plan, direct and coordinate benefit and insurance programs.
·          Identify, plan and develop methods and procedures to obtain greater efficiency and effectiveness of benefit programs.
·          Development of client specific management and financial programs. Review financial and management reports monthly.
·          Develop sales or cross-selling opportunities with current clients.
·          Manage financial profitability of account book.
·          Special projects as assigned which includes involvement in presentations, client functions and meetings.
 
Requirements:
 
·          Minimum of 3 years managing large Health and Welfare clients.  
·          Exceptional knowledge of all lines of benefits.
·          Currently licensed in Life/Accident and Health Insurance.
·          Good oral and written communication skills. 
·          Ability to independently make accurate decisions and demonstrate good judgment.
