The $6.2 million American's With Disabilities Act (ADA) settlement between Sears & Roebuck Company, Inc. (Sears) and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) on September 29, 2009 opened the door to active ADA involvement in workers' compensation claims for all U.S. companies.
