For many employees “work from home” has become the new normal, but in industries like healthcare, working from home is not an option. Restaurants, gyms, and daycares may be closed, but essential employees are still responsible for physically going into work. What can employers do to help employees improve and maintain their health and well-being during this new normal? The short answer: help create environments that are conducive to healthy behaviors and supportive of employee well-being.
