What is Total Rewards?

To us, Total Rewards encompasses all that you offer your employees in exchange for their skillset and contributions to your organization.

The Total Rewards you offer employees goes beyond the foundational pieces of compensation and employee benefits. It includes differentiators like culture and your approach to change management. Whether or not you focus on it, every company offers Total Rewards to their employees.

The Impact of Total Rewards

Choosing what to emphasize and prioritize in your Total Rewards should complement your organization’s strategy. Being clear and transparent about your offerings and understanding what motivates your employees helps ensure that you are attracting, engaging and retaining the right kind of talent that drives your success.

How We Consult

  • We genuinely engage with your organization; taking the time to listen and understand
  • From there, we make sure we bring the organization along with us, so voices are embedded in our results
  • We strive for excellence in our solutions and are committed to the maintenance and sustainability of our structures
  • It is our goal to have you, our partner, shine as a result of our work with you.

Why Hays?

We have spent most of our careers in-house, so we’ve been in your shoes. We understand how important it is to bring leaders along the journey with you and how challenging it can be to navigate designing and implementing new employee programs.

We also understand that labor is your biggest expense and, therefore, there is inherent risk in that. We can help mitigate this risk. In order to do this, we want to look at the whole picture and make sure your Total Rewards offerings truly serve you and your employees by developing solutions that enhance your employee’s life cycle and limits unhealthy turnover.

The Total Rewards team spends quality time in the organization and works very hard to understand its culture, values, mission and strategy. The results were fantastic and the team created a optimized rewards structure that retained and motivated employees.
