On September 14, 2014, Steve Baue had just quit his high-paying executive position, took out a massive loan, and put all of his personal savings at risk to buy a business. Five days later, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. It was at this point he learned the concept called resiliency.
In this workshop, Steve will focus on the importance of resiliency in leadership. Today’s leaders operate under a complexity and pace that demands advanced personal and interpersonal skills. The ability to bounce back, manage change, use creativity to solve problems, and lead others in resilience are the trademarks of high-performance leaders.
This workshop will focus on:
- Learning what resiliency is and what gets in our way.
- Understanding the 4 core competencies of resilience and how to strengthen them.
- How to promote resiliency within others.
- Creating personal and team resiliency action plan(s) for immediate implementation.
This program has been approved for 1.5 CEU SHRM credits.
